An example of cross sector collaboration is our strong partnership with NZLA and the LSA. It is becoming increasingly apparent that climate education is a key ingredient to law firms playing their part in the decarbonisation of the global economy. The Climate Policy Hub (formerly the Net Zero Regulation and Policy Hub) and its key output, the Climate Policy Monitor, aims to systematically map and analyse emerging climate rules to support rigorous, cohesive and resilient rules for net-zero aligned economies.

Legal Charter 1.5 has been actively engaged in the Climate Policy Monitor since inception, with Charter firms contributing pro bono expertise to its development and sponsorship of the 2025 Oxford Climate Policy Monitor Symposium.

The collaboration between Save the Children Global Ventures and seven Legal Charter 1.5 firms has facilitated a new approach to offsetting through a major, long-term sustainable development impact project in Nandi, western Kenya, which is underpinned by a triple bottom line of social-environmental-economic resilience. The framework underpinning this project is now freely available to enable similar climate finance across the professional services.  Find out more here.
